: BA in Journalism from the University
of Oregon, 1987. MA in Geography from CSU
Chico, 1995. Emphasis in Cultural Geography and
specializing in Geographic Information Systems (GIS). Worked on
numerous GIS projects and as a city planner. Other professional
experience includes working for
the Dept. of Forest and Fire Protection (CDF
- FRAP), US Forest Service and National Park Service.
Current projects working with Placer County conservation planning
(PCCP) process and developing GIS certificate program.
